About The Role

We’re hiring AI Data Trainers – Renewable Energy Systems & Smart Grids with strong technical knowledge in energy systems to support the development of next-generation AI tools. In this role, you’ll evaluate and improve AI-generated responses related to energy grid optimization, smart grid technologies, and renewable integration. Your expertise will help train AI models to better understand the language, challenges, and innovations within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess AI-generated content related to renewable energy systems, smart grids, energy storage, and distribution networks.
  • Ensure AI outputs reflect technical accuracy, grid safety standards, and energy policy compliance.
  • Annotate or edit responses to align with real-world applications of solar, wind, battery, and smart grid technologies.
  • Identify factual errors, technical gaps, or misleading conclusions in AI-generated energy data or analyses.
  • Work within structured evaluation guidelines to maintain high annotation and review standards.
  • Provide technical feedback that supports AI model alignment with engineering and energy system principles.
  • Stay current on advancements in sustainable energy infrastructure and smart grid innovations.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Recommended)
  • 2 or more years of experience in renewable energy systems, power systems engineering, smart grid technologies, or a closely related field. Current students actively studying in these disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of grid integration, energy distribution, and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with energy modeling, grid simulation tools, or system design.
  • Experience working with distributed energy systems, demand response, or grid control systems.
  • Involvement in projects related to microgrids, VPPs (Virtual Power Plants), or DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems).
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and protocols (e.g., IEEE, NERC, IEC, FERC).
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
  • English proficiency at B2, C1, C2, or Native level.
