About The Role

We are seeking AI Ethics Data Trainers – Bias, Fairness & Responsible AI Use to help ensure AI models are built and evaluated with integrity, inclusivity, and social accountability. In this role, you’ll evaluate AI-generated outputs through an ethical lens; assessing content for bias, representation, cultural sensitivity, and potential harms. Your expertise will guide the development of fairer, more transparent, and socially responsible AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated content for signs of bias, stereotypes, exclusion, or ethically sensitive errors.
  • Annotate datasets with fairness-related labels, flagging content that lacks inclusivity or violates ethical guidelines.
  • Apply structured frameworks for evaluating fairness across gender, race, culture, disability, religion, and other identities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align outputs with responsible AI standards and model governance protocols.
  • Ensure that annotations reflect balanced, respectful, and socially aware perspectives across global contexts.
  • Stay current on ethical AI research, fairness metrics, and evolving regulations related to AI deployment.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Recommended)
  • Strong knowledge of AI fairness concerns, algorithmic bias, and ethical implications in machine learning systems.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating content beyond technical correctness.
  • Experience working in environments focused on social impact, digital equity, or inclusive design.
  • English proficiency at B2, C1, C2, or Native level.
  • Background in philosophy, ethics, law, sociology, digital humanities, or data governance.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency in Machine Learning (FATML) or UNESCO’s AI Ethics Recommendations.
  • Experience contributing to responsible AI initiatives in academia, nonprofits, tech policy, or industry.
