About The Role

We are seeking AI Data Trainers – Environmental Impact & Sustainability with strong domain expertise in sustainability, climate science, or environmental policy. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of AI systems by labeling, evaluating, and reviewing AI-generated content related to environmental challenges, sustainable practices, and climate impact. Your annotations will help train AI models to better understand the complex language and context of environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Annotate AI-generated content focused on environmental issues, climate science, and sustainability.
  • Evaluate AI responses for factual accuracy, relevance, and adherence to domain-specific guidelines.
  • Identify misinformation, ethical concerns, or oversimplifications in sustainability-related content.
  • Apply structured labeling taxonomies to classify data according to environmental domains (e.g., emissions, renewable energy, conservation).
  • Follow detailed project instructions and quality assurance protocols to ensure high annotation standards.
  • Collaborate with project leads to improve labeling criteria and adapt to evolving sustainability topics.
  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail across large volumes of data tasks.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Recommended)
  • 2+ years of experience in sustainability, climate policy, environmental science, or related fields. Current students enrolled in relevant academic programs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of ecological issues, environmental systems, or climate change frameworks.
  • Experience working with data in a structured format (e.g., tagging, annotation, QA).
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills.
  • English proficiency at B2, C1, C2, or Native level.
  • Background in research or analysis within NGOs, environmental agencies, or green tech initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI annotation platforms, labeling tools, or model evaluation tasks.
  • Exposure to climate modeling, sustainability metrics, or policy evaluation tools.
  • Experience working on projects involving LLM alignment, fact-checking, or AI safety related to environmental domains.
