About The Role

We’re hiring AI Data Trainers – Music Generation & Composition to guide and evaluate AI models that compose music, generate melodies, and structure musical elements. Your expertise will help refine AI capabilities in harmony, rhythm, instrumentation, and genre-specific composition. You’ll provide annotations and feedback to ensure musical outputs align with artistic standards, theoretical accuracy, and emotional intent.

Responsibilities

  • Review and annotate AI-generated musical pieces for structure, genre alignment, and musicality.
  • Evaluate AI outputs for harmonic coherence, rhythm, phrasing, and tempo.
  • Identify issues such as off-key progressions, unnatural instrument use, or composition artifacts.
  • Label musical content by genre, mood, instrumentation, and complexity.
  • Provide guidance on prompt-to-music alignment and emotional context in generation tasks.
  • Stay informed on developments in music AI, neural synthesis, and generative sound design.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Required).
  • 2+ years of experience in music composition, production, theory, or sound design. Current students actively studying in these disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of musical notation, harmony, melody, and arrangement techniques.
  • Familiarity with music production software (e.g., DAWs like Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro).
  • Ability to analyze musical outputs for technical and creative quality.
  • English proficiency at B2, C1, C2, or Native level.
  • Experience with AI-powered music tools (e.g., Aiva, Amper Music, Google Magenta, Suno, or Boomy).
  • Proficiency in MIDI annotation or musicXML formatting.
  • Understanding of neural audio synthesis, GANs for music, or diffusion-based audio generation.
