About The Role

We’re hiring AI Training Specialists – Chinese Mandarin & Simplified Characters to improve AI understanding of Mandarin Chinese in formal and informal settings. You will assess model outputs for accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance, focusing on correct character usage, grammar, and phrasing in Simplified Chinese.

Ideal candidates will have deep familiarity with Mandarin usage in business, education, or tech, and an eye for spotting subtle misinterpretations in translations or generative AI conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated Mandarin text for tone, accuracy, and character integrity.
  • Annotate sentence structure, idioms, and cultural references.
  • Distinguish between literal and implied meanings in colloquial and formal contexts.
  • Provide corrections and quality feedback for Chinese-to-English and English-to-Chinese translation tasks.
  • Support AI fine-tuning for chatbots, search systems, and educational applications.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Required).
  • Fluent or native Mandarin Chinese speaker (Simplified characters).
  • Strong understanding of grammar, idiomatic expressions, and regional phrasing.
  • English proficiency (B1+).
  • Background in language education, translation, or linguistics is preferred.
