About The Role

We’re seeking Music Expert AI Data Trainers to help develop and refine AI models trained in music theory, performance, composition, production, and education. In this role, you’ll evaluate AI-generated content for musical accuracy, creativity, and instructional clarity. Your work will ensure AI understands both the technical and expressive dimensions of music from notation and harmony to genre-specific techniques and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and annotate AI-generated outputs related to music theory, songwriting, production, instrumentation, and performance analysis.
  • Evaluate content for accuracy in musical structure, genre conventions, harmonic logic, and notation.
  • Provide structured feedback on content involving chord progressions, rhythm patterns, melodies, and music pedagogy.
  • Identify errors in interpretation, musical phrasing, or genre mixing in AI-generated material.
  • Collaborate with QA and alignment teams to ensure the training data adheres to real-world musical standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in music production, composition tools, and educational frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Advanced AI Data Trainer Mastery from AIDRALabs (Recommended)
  • 2+ years of experience in music education, performance, composition, production, or music theory instruction.
  • Strong understanding of music theory (scales, chords, progressions, key signatures, modes).
  • Ability to evaluate music across diverse genres and cultural styles.
  • Proficient in reading and writing music notation.
  • English proficiency at B2, C1, C2, or Native level.
  • Experience with DAWs (e.g., Logic Pro, Ableton, FL Studio), music notation software (Sibelius, Finale, MuseScore), or educational platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated music tools or creative AI applications.
  • Previous work with music annotation datasets, audio analysis, or LLM prompt training.
